“I was homeless for 3 years.

Ariel’s Place has given me temporary housing until I find something more permanent. It is like home. Warm, safe, and everything a person needs and wants. Warm food, showers, clean sheets and clothes.

I feel human again. The people are kind, fair and understanding. Thank you Ariel’s Place for helping me.”

“I’ve been experiencing homelessness for the last couple of years, struggling with drug addiction and in an abusive relationship.

Ariel’s Place has done a lot for me. It’s given me peace, love, faith, hope, support, friendship, trust, change, belief, honesty, loyalty, guidelines, opportunities, purpose, courage, meaning, dreams, and encouragement. Without Ariel’s Place I don’t know where I would be today. It’s opened my heart and is such a blessing. I’m very thankful for Ariel’s Place.”

“I knew I had become a heroin addict when my body couldn’t function without it.

All I had inside of me was hatred and anger towards the world. I came to a breaking point where I was ready to give it all up, but decided to try for help one more time and I set up an interview at Ariel’s Place.

I passed the screening and got a bed that day. I already knew in my heart before I walked in that that was home for me. The connection and the way God brought me here is a miracle, it was meant to be. Some of us forget we’re not the only ones, and if you think you’re alone you’re not. There are so many more Ariels out there and the only way to overcome our struggles is if we do it together.”
